Traditional Cake Pops
Delight in this classic treat of cake pops, each bite-sized piece covered in rich chocolate and decorated to perfection - a must-have for any dessert table!

Ingredients
1 box vanilla cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Sprinkles for decoration
Lollipop sticks
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a cake mix as per box instructions.
2. Once baked, allow the cake to cool completely and then crumble into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
3. Add softened butter and confectioners' sugar to the cake crumbs, mixing until it forms a smooth dough-like consistency.
4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Insert a lollipop stick into each ball and freeze them for about 20 minutes to firm up.
6. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with vegetable oil in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and glossy.
7. Dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, and then decorate with sprinkles.
8. Place the cake pops upright in a styrofoam block or a cake pop stand to set.
Storage
Store cake pops in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Reheating
If desired, allow cake pops to come to room temperature for 15 minutes before serving.
