Sticky Honey Garlic Wings

Swap out traditional hot wings for these sweet and savory sticky honey garlic wings. Marinated to perfection, they're baked until crispy and glazed with a finger-licking sauce that's sure to be a hit.

Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings
1 cup honey
1/2 cup soy sauce
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ginger, grated
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
Sesame seeds for garnish
Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and olive oil.
2. Add chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring each wing is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
4. Arrange marinated wings on the prepared baking sheet, saving the excess marinade.
5. Bake wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
6. Meanwhile, pour the saved marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Then, reduce heat and simmer until the sauce thickens.
7. Once wings are cooked, remove from oven and brush with the thickened sauce.
8. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Storage

Store leftover wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat wings in a 350°F oven for 10-12 minutes until heated through.
