1 9-inch pie crust
5 cups sliced fresh peaches
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie plate.
3. In a large bowl, combine peaches, sugar, maple syrup, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Stir gently to combine.
