Zesty Green Pea Guacamole

Ingredients
2 ripe avocados
1 cup fresh or thawed frozen green peas
1/2 cup diced red onion
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 teaspoon lime zest
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1: In a food processor, combine green peas and lime juice. Pulse until smooth.
2: In a mixing bowl, mash the avocados until creamy.
3: Add the pea mixture to the mashed avocados and mix well.
4: Stir in red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, lime zest, salt, and black pepper until fully combined.
5: Adjust seasoning to taste and serve immediately.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To prevent browning, cover with plastic wrap directly on the surface.
Reheating
Reheat is not applicable as guacamole is best served fresh.
