Ingredients
2 ripe avocados
1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup lime juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup water
Instructions
1. Peel and pit the avocados, then place the flesh into a blender.
2. Add cilantro, green onions, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, chopped jalapeño, salt, and black pepper to the blender.
3. Pour in 1/4 cup of water to help with blending.
4. Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy.
5. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
6. Serve immediately or chill before serving for enhanced flavor.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Best served fresh. If refrigerated, allow to reach room temperature before serving for optimal flavor.
