Ultimate Citrus Coleslaw

Ingredients

1 medium head green cabbage, shredded
1 small head purple cabbage, shredded
2 large carrots, julienned
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup lime juice
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
Zest of 1 lime
Zest of 1 orange

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded green and purple cabbages and julienned carrots.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the orange juice, lime juice, mayonnaise, sour cream, honey, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss well to ensure everything is evenly coated.
4. Add the chopped cilantro, lime zest, and orange zest to the coleslaw and mix again.
5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Storage

Store any leftover coleslaw in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Coleslaw is best served cold and does not require reheating. If desired, allow it to come to room temperature slightly before serving.
