Tuna Salad Lettuce Wraps

Replace bread with crisp lettuce leaves and fill with a light tuna salad mixture. This refreshing and easy meal is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

1 can of tuna (5 oz), drained
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/4 cup diced celery
1/4 cup diced red onion
Salt and pepper to taste
8 large lettuce leaves (such as romaine or butter)

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard. Mix well until the tuna is fully coated.
2. Stir in the diced celery and red onion. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Lay out the lettuce leaves on a clean surface.
4. Spoon the tuna salad mixture equally into each lettuce leaf.
5. Wrap the lettuce around the filling, tucking in the sides as you roll. Secure with a toothpick if necessary.
6. Serve immediately or keep chilled until ready to serve.

Storage

Store any leftover tuna salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Wraps should be assembled fresh to maintain crispness.

Reheating

Tuna salad can be eaten cold, or brought to room temperature if preferred.
