Ingredients
12 oz egg noodles
2 cans (12 oz each) tuna, drained
1 cup frozen peas
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 tbsp butter, melted
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked noodles, drained tuna, frozen peas, cream of mushroom soup, milk, shredded cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
5. In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with melted butter, then sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
7. Let cool slightly before serving.
Storage
Store leftover tuna casserole in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), cover the casserole with foil, and bake for 15-20 minutes or until heated through. Alternatively, you can microwave individual portions until warm.
