Traditional Taco Casserole
A flavorful blend of seasoned ground beef, hearty beans, and melted cheese all layered together for a comforting and satisfying meal.

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1/4 cup water
1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
1 cup salsa
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 bag (9 oz) tortilla chips, crushed
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup sliced black olives
Sour cream and chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
3. Stir in taco seasoning and water; cook for an additional 2 minutes.
4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, black beans, corn, and salsa.
5. In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread half of the crushed tortilla chips evenly on the bottom.
6. Layer half of the beef mixture, followed by half of the cheese. Repeat layers with remaining chips, beef mixture, and cheese.
7. Sprinkle green onions and black olives on top.
8. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
9. Allow to cool slightly before serving with sour cream and cilantro.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes or until heated through.
