Ingredients

1 whole chicken (about 4-5 lbs)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 lemon, halved

Instructions

1. Preheat your rotisserie oven to 350°F.
2. Rinse the chicken under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
3. In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and oregano.
4. Rub the chicken with olive oil and evenly coat it with the spice mixture.
5. Place one lemon half inside the cavity of the chicken.
6. Secure the chicken onto the rotisserie spit, ensuring it is balanced.
7. Insert into the rotisserie oven and cook for approximately 90 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
8. Allow the chicken to rest for 10 minutes before carving.

Store leftover chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat leftovers in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes or until heated through.
