Traditional Pan-Seared Pork Chops
Deliciously juicy and flavorful pork chops, pan-seared to perfection and seasoned with simple herbs and spices, perfect for a weeknight dinner or a family gathering.

Ingredients
4 bone-in pork chops (1 inch thick)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tbsp butter
1 lemon (sliced for garnish)
Instructions
1. Pat dry the pork chops with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add pork chops to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
4. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet; let it melt and baste the pork chops for an additional 1-2 minutes.
5. Remove from heat and let the chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with lemon slices.
Storage
Store leftover pork chops in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a skillet over low heat or in the oven at 300°F (150°C) until warmed through.
