Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp taco seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 can (15 oz) refried beans
8 large flour tortillas
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup salsa
1/2 cup sour cream
1 avocado, sliced
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the beef and sauté until the onion is translucent, around 4 minutes.
3. Stir in the taco seasoning, salt, and black pepper, mixing well until combined.
4. Reduce the heat to low, add the refried beans, and stir until heated through.
5. Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
6. To assemble, place a tortilla on a flat surface and spoon a generous amount of the beef and bean mixture onto the center.
7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the filling, followed by a spoonful of salsa and a dollop of sour cream.
8. Add avocado slices and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro on top.
9. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll from the bottom up, tucking in the ends as you go.
10. Serve immediately or wrap in foil to keep warm.
