Traditional Hot Apple Cider

A warm, spiced beverage perfect for cold winter nights, this traditional hot apple cider recipe combines freshly pressed apple juice with cinnamon, cloves, and a hint of citrus for a cozy drink.

Ingredients

8 cups apple cider
2 cinnamon sticks
5 whole cloves
1 orange, sliced
1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
3. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes.
