Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter (cold, diced)
3/4 cup whole milk

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. Add the cold, diced butter into the flour mixture, using a pastry cutter or your fingertips to work the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4. Gradually stir in the milk, mixing just until the dough comes together.
5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it 3-4 times until smooth.
6. Roll out the dough to a 1-inch thickness and cut out biscuits with a 2.5-inch round cutter.
7. Place the biscuits onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Storage

Store leftover biscuits in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.

Reheating

Reheat biscuits in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes or until warmed through.
