Traditional Hearty Meatloaf

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried rosemary
1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
3. Mix the ingredients gently with your hands until just combined.
4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
5. Spread 1/2 cup ketchup evenly over the top of the loaf.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
7. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Storage
Store the meatloaf in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat slices in the microwave on medium power for 1-2 minutes or until heated through.
