Traditional Guacamole
A timeless Mexican appetizer made with ripe avocados, fresh lime juice, and a hint of spice, perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients
3 ripe avocados
1 lime, juiced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup diced onion
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
2 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 pinch ground cayenne pepper
Instructions
1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
2. Add lime juice and salt, and mash together using a fork or potato masher.
3. Fold in onion, cilantro, tomatoes, and garlic.
4. Add cayenne pepper and mix well to combine.
5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
Storage
Store in an airtight container with a layer of plastic wrap pressed against the surface to prevent browning. Keep refrigerated for up to 2 days.
Reheating
Guacamole is best served fresh and is not recommended for reheating. Let it reach room temperature naturally if cold.
