Traditional Deli Bake

A comforting savory bake that combines layers of corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and buttery crescent rolls, delivering a classic deli experience in each bite.

Ingredients

2 cans crescent roll dough
1 lb thinly sliced corned beef
8 oz Swiss cheese slices
1 cup sauerkraut, drained
1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
1 egg white, beaten

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
3. Layer the corned beef evenly over the dough.
4. Spread the sauerkraut over the corned beef.
5. Drizzle Thousand Island dressing over the sauerkraut.
6. Place Swiss cheese slices evenly over the mixture.
7. Unroll the second can of crescent dough and place it on top, sealing the edges.
8. Brush the top with beaten egg white.
9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
10. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
