Traditional Corn Casserole

Ingredients
1 can (15 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
1 can (15 oz) creamed corn
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 box (8.5 oz) corn muffin mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
3. In a large bowl, combine whole kernel corn, creamed corn, sour cream, and melted butter.
4. Stir in corn muffin mix, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
5. Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, place in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes or until heated through. Alternatively, microwave individual portions on high for 1-2 minutes.
