Traditional Coleslaw
A refreshing and crunchy traditional coleslaw featuring green cabbage and carrots, perfect for picnics and barbecues.

Ingredients
1 medium green cabbage, shredded
2 large carrots, peeled and shredded
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots.
2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture and toss until evenly coated.
4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
5. Serve chilled as a side dish.
Storage
Store the coleslaw in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Coleslaw is best enjoyed cold and does not require reheating.
