Traditional Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients
4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
1 cup milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 large eggs
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Combine flour, granulated sugar, and salt in a bowl.
2. Warm milk to 110°F and dissolve yeast in it; allow to sit until frothy.
3. Add yeast mixture, softened butter, and eggs to the dry ingredients; mix into a dough.
4. Knead dough for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
6. Roll dough into a rectangle, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
7. Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12 rolls.
8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
9. Preheat oven to 350°F and bake rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
10. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make icing; drizzle over warm rolls.
Storage
Store cinnamon rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat cinnamon rolls in the microwave for 20-30 seconds until warm.
