Traditional Chicken Rolled Delight
A succulent dish featuring tender chicken breasts rolled with savory ham and creamy Swiss cheese, coated in crispy breadcrumbs. Perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
4 boneless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
4 slices of ham
4 slices of Swiss cheese
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Pound the chicken breasts to about 1/4-inch thickness between two sheets of plastic wrap.
3. Season each breast with salt, pepper, thyme, and garlic powder.
4. Place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast.
5. Roll each chicken breast tightly and secure with toothpicks.
6. Dredge each roll in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
7. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
8. Brown the chicken rolls on all sides until golden, about 5 minutes.
9. Transfer to a baking dish and bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
10. Remove from oven, let rest for 5 minutes, remove toothpicks, and serve.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, place chicken in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes or until warmed through.
