Ingredients
1 9-inch pie crust
1 cup broccoli florets, chopped
1 tablespoon butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large eggs
1 cup half-and-half
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 pinch nutmeg
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish. Trim the edges and prick the bottom with a fork.
3. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, then sauté the onion until translucent. Add the broccoli and cook for an additional 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
4. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, half-and-half, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
5. Spread the broccoli and onion mixture evenly over the pie crust. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.

7. Place the quiche in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
