Traditional Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Ingredients
1 lb pork sausage
8 slices white bread, cubed
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 large eggs
2 cups whole milk
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned; drain.
3. Place bread cubes in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
4. Evenly spread cooked sausage over the bread cubes.
5. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
6. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt, and black pepper.
7. Pour egg mixture over the cheese.
8. Sprinkle with chopped green onions.
9. Bake in preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until eggs are set and top is golden.
Storage
Let cool completely, cover with plastic wrap or foil, and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
