Ingredients

4 cups fresh blueberries
3 cups granulated sugar
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

1. Wash blueberries thoroughly and remove any stems.
2. In a large saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice over medium heat.
3. Stir the mixture gently until the sugar completely dissolves.
4. Increase heat to high and bring the mixture to a rolling boil.
5. Stir occasionally and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency.
6. Test the jam by placing a small amount on a cold plate; it should wrinkle slightly when pushed with a finger.
7. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
8. Pour the jam into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace, and seal immediately.
9. Allow the jars to cool completely before storing them in a cool, dark place.

Storage

Store unopened jars in a cool, dark pantry for up to one year. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within a month.
