Traditional Black Bean Salsa

Ingredients
1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup fresh corn kernels, or canned corn, drained
1 red bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and minced
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
3 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the black beans, corn, red bell pepper, red onion, jalapeños, and cilantro.
2. Drizzle with lime juice and olive oil.
3. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
4. Toss everything together gently until well combined.
5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
