Traditional Apple Cobbler

Ingredients
4 cups of sliced tart apples
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 cup of all-purpose flour
1 tsp of ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp of ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 cup of milk
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, 1/2 cup of sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until the apples are well coated.
3. Spread the apple mixture evenly in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
4. In another bowl, mix the remaining sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth.
5. Pour the batter over the apples in the baking dish, not stirring to mix.
6. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the batter.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender.
8. Let it cool slightly before serving warm.

Store the cobbler covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
