Timeless Vinaigrette

Ingredients

1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp honey
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and pepper.
2. Slowly whisk in the red wine vinegar until well combined.
3. Gradually add the olive oil while continuing to whisk until the dressing is emulsified.
4. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
5. Transfer the dressing to a sealed container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Storage

Store the vinaigrette in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Reheating

Allow dressing to come to room temperature and give it a good shake before use.
