Ingredients
1 cup ripe bananas, mashed
2 cups old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, applesauce, and vanilla extract until well mixed.
3. Stir in oats, cinnamon, and salt, then fold in the raisins and walnuts until evenly distributed.
4. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, flattening them slightly with the back of a spoon.
5. Bake for 15-18 minutes until lightly golden on the edges.
6. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Storage
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a preheated oven at 300°F for about 5 minutes for a freshly baked taste.
