Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 18 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground ginger, and black pepper to create the glaze.
2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the glaze over them. Reserve the other half for later. Allow the salmon to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
4. Arrange the marinated salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle a little olive oil over the top of the salmon.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
6. While the salmon is baking, heat the reserved glaze in a small saucepan over medium heat until it slightly thickens.
7. Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and brush with the thickened glaze before serving.

Storage

Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

To reheat, place the salmon in a preheated oven at 300°F for about 10 minutes or until warm. Alternatively, microwave on low for 1-2 minutes.
