Ingredients
2 large sweet potatoes
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into 1/4-inch thick sticks.
3. In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato sticks with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using) until evenly coated.
4. Spread the sweet potatoes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, then flip the fries and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown.
6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Storage
Store leftover sweet potato fries in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes or until heated through and crispy.
