Ingredients
4 lbs pork ribs
1 cup barbecue sauce
2 tbsp chipotle powder
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup water
Instructions
1. Preheat your grill to medium heat and oil the grates.
2. In a bowl, mix the chipotle powder, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to create a dry rub.
3. Rub the mixture evenly over the ribs, ensuring full coverage.
4. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and water. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.
5. Place the ribs on the grill and cook for 1.5-2 hours, turning occasionally and basting with the sauce mixture every 20 minutes.
6. Once the ribs are tender and the meat pulls away from the bone, remove them from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes.
