Spinach, Mushroom, and Bacon Quiche
A delightful twist on the classic quiche featuring a perfect blend of spinach, mushrooms, and crispy bacon, encased in a buttery, flaky crust.

Ingredients
1 9-inch pre-made pie crust
3 large eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup onions, finely chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp butter
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, then sauté onions and mushrooms until softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
5. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and spread the cooked bacon, sautéed vegetables, and shredded cheese evenly over the crust.
6. Pour the egg mixture over the filling, ensuring it covers evenly.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
8. Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
Storage
Store any leftover quiche in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat slices of quiche in the oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes or until warmed through.
