Spicy Lime Shrimp Skewers

These Spicy Lime Shrimp Skewers feature a zesty blend of lime and chili marinated shrimp skewered and grilled to perfection. Perfect for adding a little spice to your summer bash, these skewers are both flavorful and fun.

Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon lime zest
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
Lime wedges, for garnish

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine lime juice, lime zest, olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and honey.
2. Add shrimp to the marinade, toss to coat, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
4. Thread marinated shrimp onto skewers, about 4-5 per skewer.
5. Grill shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until shrimp are pink and opaque.
6. Remove from grill, garnish with chopped cilantro and lime wedges, and serve immediately.

Storage

Store leftover shrimp skewers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Reheating

To reheat, place skewers on a grill or in a pan over medium heat until warm, or microwave on medium power for 1-2 minutes.
