Spicy Avocado Toast

Ingredients

2 slices of sourdough bread
1 ripe avocado
1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes
1 clove of garlic
1/2 lemon, zested
1/4 tsp of salt
1 tbsp of olive oil
1 tbsp of chopped cilantro

Instructions

1. Toast the sourdough bread slices until golden brown.
2. In a bowl, mash the ripe avocado and mix in the minced garlic, lemon zest, and salt.
3. Spread the avocado mixture evenly onto the toasted bread slices.
4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle red pepper flakes and chopped cilantro on top.
5. Serve immediately.

Storage

Store any leftover avocado mixture in an airtight container for up to 1 day in the refrigerator.

Reheating
