1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 pack puff pastry (14 oz)
1 egg (beaten for egg wash)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions

5. Place an apple half in the center of each pastry square. Fill the core with the sugar-spice mixture.
6. Dot each apple half with butter and drizzle with maple syrup.
7. Bring the corners of the pastry up over the apple and pinch to seal, forming a dumpling.
8. Brush the dumplings with the beaten egg and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Storage
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, place the dumplings in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-10 minutes until warmed through.
