Spiced Apple Cider Sangria

Ingredients

4 cups apple cider
1 bottle (750ml) white wine (such as Pinot Grigio)
1/2 cup brandy
1 apple, thinly sliced
1 orange, thinly sliced
2 cinnamon sticks
4 whole cloves
1/4 cup honey
Ice (optional)

Instructions

1. In a large pitcher, combine apple cider, white wine, and brandy.
2. Add sliced apple and orange, cinnamon sticks, and cloves to the mixture.
3. Stir in honey until fully dissolved.
4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
5. Before serving, remove cinnamon sticks and cloves.
6. Serve chilled over ice or heat gently for a warm version.

Storage

Store sangria in a covered pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

To reheat, gently warm in a saucepan over low heat, without boiling, until desired temperature is reached.
