Spiced Almond Peppermint Bark

An exotic twist on the classic holiday treat, Spiced Almond Peppermint Bark combines the refreshing taste of peppermint with the warmth of spices and the crunch of almonds, perfect for festive gatherings.

Ingredients

8 oz semi-sweet chocolate
8 oz white chocolate
1 tsp peppermint extract
1/2 cup crushed candy canes
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground ginger

Instructions

1. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate in a double boiler until smooth.
2. Spread the melted chocolate evenly onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
3. Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler and stir in the peppermint extract, ground cinnamon, and ground ginger.
4. Pour the white chocolate mixture over the semi-sweet chocolate layer.
5. Sprinkle the crushed candy canes and sliced almonds on top.
6. Gently press the toppings into the chocolate layers.
7. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour, and then break into pieces.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 2 weeks.

Reheating

Enjoy at room temperature. Do not reheat.
