Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 cup diced onions
1/2 cup diced bell peppers
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
4 hamburger buns
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
2. Add diced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
3. Stir in minced garlic, cooking for an additional 1 minute.
4. Add barbecue sauce, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Toast hamburger buns lightly on a separate pan or toaster.
6. Serve the beef mixture on the toasted buns, topped with chopped cilantro and shredded cheddar cheese.
