Ingredients

2.5 lbs tri-tip roast
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped

Instructions

2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to form a paste.
3. Rub the spice paste evenly over the tri-tip roast.
4. In a separate bowl, mix softened butter with parsley, rosemary, and thyme.
5. Place the tri-tip on the grill, fat side up, and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side.
6. Reduce the heat to medium and continue grilling, turning occasionally, for an additional 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F for medium-rare.
