Smoky Barbecue Sloppy Joes

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
4 hamburger buns
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup sliced pickles
1/4 cup chopped red onions
Instructions
1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon.
2. Once browned, drain excess fat from the skillet.
3. Stir in barbecue sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper.
4. Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Toast hamburger buns lightly in a separate pan or toaster.
6. Spoon the beef mixture onto the bottom halves of the buns.
7. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, pickles, and red onions.
8. Place the top halves of the buns on top and serve immediately.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat the mixture in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through, or microwave in a microwave-safe dish for 1-2 minutes.
