Ingredients
4 cups chopped iceberg lettuce
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 cup sliced cucumbers
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup sliced red onions
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 cup crispy bacon bits
2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
Instructions
1. In a large glass bowl, layer the chopped iceberg lettuce evenly at the base.
2. Add the chopped tomatoes as the second layer, spreading them evenly.
3. Layer the sliced cucumbers over the tomatoes.
4. Add the chopped green bell pepper for the fourth layer.
5. Scatter the sliced red onions evenly.
6. Spread the thawed peas, forming the sixth layer of the salad.
7. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the peas as the seventh layer.
8. In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise and white sugar until well combined, then spread this dressing evenly over the top of the salad.
9. Garnish with crispy bacon bits and sliced hard-boiled eggs on top.
10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Storage
