Savory Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Ingredients

4 lbs turkey breast
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

1. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
2. Rub the turkey breast with olive oil, making sure to cover all sides.
3. In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and rosemary.
4. Rub the spice mixture all over the turkey breast, coating it evenly.
5. Place the turkey breast in the slow cooker, skin side up.
6. Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the slow cooker.
7. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
8. Remove the turkey breast from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Storage

Store leftover turkey in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat slices of turkey in the microwave on medium power for 1-2 minutes, or until heated through.
