Savory Slow Cooker Beef Pot Roast
A tender and savory slow-cooked beef pot roast infused with aromatic herbs and vegetables, perfect for a comforting family dinner.

Ingredients
3 lbs beef chuck roast
2 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
4 large carrots, chopped
4 stalks celery, chopped
2 cups beef broth
1 cup red wine
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
2 sprigs fresh thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the chuck roast on all sides.
2. Transfer the browned roast to the slow cooker.
3. Add onion, garlic, carrots, and celery on top of the roast.
4. Pour in beef broth, red wine, and Worcestershire sauce.
5. Add rosemary and thyme sprigs.
6. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the beef is tender.
8. Remove rosemary and thyme sprigs before serving.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
Reheat in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through, adding extra broth if needed.
