4 bone-in pork chops
1 packet (1 oz) onion soup mix
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup of water
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

1. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the pork chops on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
2. In a medium bowl, mix together the onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, and water until well combined.
3. Place the browned pork chops in the bottom of the crock pot.
