Ingredients

4 boneless pork chops (1 inch thick)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
4. Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
5. Remove pork chops and set aside.
6. Reduce heat to medium and add butter, garlic, and sage to the skillet, cooking until aromatic.
7. Pour in chicken broth, stirring to combine.
8. Return pork chops to the skillet and spoon sauce over them.
9. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
10. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
