Ingredients

1 lb ground pork
1/2 cup diced Granny Smith apple
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, diced apple, and maple syrup.
2. Add the fresh sage, salt, black pepper, nutmeg, ground cinnamon, and red pepper flakes. Mix until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.
3. Form the sausage mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
