Ingredients

2 lbs ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup barbecue sauce (for topping)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme. Mix until just combined.
3. Transfer the mixture to a greased loaf pan, pressing it down evenly.
4. Spread the barbecue sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat slices in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes or until heated through.
