Savory Herb Meatloaf Supreme

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup whole milk
2 large eggs
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk. Let it soak for 5 minutes.
3. Add ground beef, ground pork, eggs, onion, garlic, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.
4. Transfer the mixture into a greased loaf pan and shape it.
5. In a small bowl, mix ketchup and brown sugar. Spread the mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Storage

Store leftover meatloaf in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat slices in a microwave-safe dish on medium power, or in a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C) until warmed through.
