Savory Hamburger Goulash

A delicious twist on traditional goulash combining the rich flavors of browned beef and hearty pasta, perfect for a satisfying family meal.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef
1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 cups beef broth
1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes
1 cup tomato sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 cups elbow macaroni
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
2. Add diced onion, garlic, and green bell pepper to the pot and sauté until vegetables are tender.
3. Stir in beef broth, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika.
4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Add elbow macaroni to the pot, cover, and cook for an additional 15 minutes or until pasta is tender.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Stir in sour cream and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Storage

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheating

Reheat in a pot over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
