Ingredients
2 cups cooked ham, diced
8 oz egg noodles
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
3. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until onion is translucent.
4. Stir in diced ham, cooking for 3 minutes until heated through.
5. Add frozen peas, heavy cream, chicken broth, thyme, and basil; stir to combine.
6. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and season with salt and pepper.
7. Add cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly with sauce.
8. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the dish and stir until melted.
9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
